If you ever thought of visiting MontrĂ©al, one word of advice, French! You must either speak/read French or have a French speaking friend with you… Though a number of them could actually speak English, all the road signs are in French and most taxi drivers can only speak very little English.
I’m on a business visit here at MontrĂ©al this week and getting around has been tough. Will try to post up some pics but I’ve not taken any so far. Haha! What’s the point of having a camera right? Anyway, hopefully I’ll be able to take some nice pictures and post them.
Je crois que je suis perdu(e) !

MUAHAHAA…
Btw, the picture was taken from RasaMalaysia. Its a hell of a good website if you’re missing home and especially the food back home. But if you’re hungry and NOT in Malaysia, then… My bro will probably know what I mean… CRAVINGS!!!

This has got to be World of Warcraft’s April’s Fool joke… Its hilarious. Look at the trailer. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/moltencore/
- Skinning a bear should aggro all bears within a 40-yard radius! - LOL (Most of you might not get unless you’re a WoW player :P)
Also, here’s Google’s version of April’s Fool joke. http://www.google.com/virgle/index.html
Btw, hope that everyone have had a safe April’s Fool day.

Gosh, if you’re also an 80’s baby, then you’ll definitely have heard of Knight Rider. Guess what, it’s BACK! NBC has just shown the pilot movie and IMO, it is so cool! I do hope they make it into a series. Wouldn’t mind them re-making Airwolf, too!
Anyway, KITT is now a Ford Mustang (being American and all) and they have added new features like GPS, satellite imagery, nano-technology that repairs the car on its own?!??! The only thing that I found weird was KITT’s voice. Haha… besides that, I LOVE IT!!!

Picture taken from the NBC Official website.
Here’s a link to NBC’s Official website of the Knight Rider.

Ahh… Finally got the time down to do this. I’ve moved apartment last week closer to work now. Now, its only a 20mins drive to work as compared to at least 45mins previously. This is certainly a lot better…
Anyway, took some pictures of the old apartment and also the new apartment. Hehe…

Happy Chinese New Year to all my friends! Too bad I won’t be in Malaysia this time around. I’m definitely going to miss all the gambling sessions and visiting houses.. and the (of course!) ang-paus!
Anyway, I wish all of you a good and prosperous new year!

So, finally I have some time for an update. Been back in Malaysia since the 17th of Dec. The week following that was basically to feed my food cravings! Haha… Then Christmas came and New Year! Gosh… How time flies… We’re now already 2 weeks into 2008.
I’m glad I was able to meet up with friends this time round. First of all, met with my three “che-che” at Dragon-i. Sadly, only two was able to come but nonetheless, we had a good time. Then, seafood dinner with Annette, Alex and Mei Peng was great. Food was delicious and it was a good time to catch up. And New Year’s eve dinner with Winnie, Soon Peng, Mei Leong and Sook Mun was fantastic too. Of course, I went to Poppy’s later after dinner with Estee to meet with some of our colleagues there. Surprisingly, there was hardly a jam to get into KL. Anyway, partied through the night and then Welcome 2008~!
Oh… And I also had the privilege to attend Kin Fai’s wedding dinner. Not only I attended it, I also “pat” (was shameless and invited myself) and became one of the “heng-tai” on the morning of the dinner. I had fun and was so glad to meet up with so many ex-schoolmates during the dinner. Congratulations to Kin Fai and wife!
Now, I’m still in Malaysia and if my project starts next week, then I’ll be back in the States by this weekend. I’ll be uploading some pictures soon (oh.. I bought my first digital camera-haha~!) so that the site won’t be so boring…
So, everyone, a late Happy New Year and I wish that it’ll be the best year for everyone!

This is perhaps the greatest lesson I learnt here in the States so far.
“When there is a Heavy snow warning, stay of the road and stay at home!!!”
Woke up as usual today and it was cloudy. Cold and cloudy but not the tiniest bit of snow. Okay… So, left home at 8:00AM and on my way to work, my colleague called. He advised me to work from home, but since I’m already on the road heading into the office, I guess I could leave work earlier later before the snow hits. (Another lesson learnt: When your senior gives you an advice, take it!)
9:00AM: Reached the office. No snow. Cool! Looked at the weather pages and it says that it will start snowing at noon. Alright. Plan right now - Work till noon, pack, head home and continue working.
12:30PM: Heavy snow! Actually, it started snowing since 10:30AM!!! The weather page was wrong! So, I got out hoping that I can still make it home in maybe 2hrs? (Usual drive is 45mins) ………………………………………………………
5:30PM: Reached home after being in traffic for 5 hrs!
I’ve had my most challenging drive on the road today! Certainly an experience but once is enough! Anyway, good news is, I reached home safely. Thank GOD for that.
